Chow Yen-Lu

Yen-Lu Chow is involved in several businesses: WholeTree Technologies, a voice and language technology venture; WholeTree Ventures, a venture catalyst company focused on a seed stage investments in technology and digital media; and Expara, an entrepreneurship consulting & training practice. A successful entrepreneur, seasoned venture investor, and a well-known technologist, Mr. Chow has founded a number of technology companies, serves on the board of several investee companies and advises several more in the US, Singapore and the region. He was a Distinguished Technologist at Apple Computer, and a venture partner for Venture TDF. He served as adjunct professor to NUS Entrepreneurship Center, and consults for government organizations including A*Star, EDB, and MDA. Mr. Chow was responsible for the development of several award-winning technology systems and products throughout his 25 year IT career, including Best-of-Best Product Award in Comdex Asia for Apple\’s Chinese Dictation Kit. He is a holder of 6 international patents. Mr. Chow received MS and BS degrees in electrical engineering from MIT.
